UPS Shipping Shopify plugin
BigCommerce Plugin

ConnectShip
WorldShip (XML Auto Import)
WorldShip (UI)
Custom Development (UPS Shipping API Integration)
Third Party Platforms
ShipStation

Note: Third-party shipping platforms must have a compatible reference field configured to pass the Quote ID to UPS at label creation time. Our onboarding team can help you test to determine eligibility.

3 Contact the UPS Global Checkout™ onboarding team

Contact globalcheckoutsupport@ups.com or your account representative to have your account configured for UPS Global Checkout™. They will also be able to answer any questions you may have.

Have the following information ready when you submit:

Your quoting platform
Your shipping platform
Your UPS account number
Shipment types (B2B, B2C, C2C)
Shipment origins and destinations
Shopify plan level (if applicable)

4 Integrate or configure your chosen platforms

Integrate or configure your chosen quoting and shipping methods using the integration instructions below.

Good news: If you are using a single plugin or WorldShip for both quoting and shipping, no additional development is required to pass the Quote ID to the label creation process.

5 Test your integration

After integration, create a test shipment and reach out to your onboarding team member to verify everything was processed successfully.

Important: Failure to perform this step may result in your shipments being processed without the guarantee.

6 Start shipping

Go live with the service and monitor your first couple shipments to ensure your integration is functioning properly.

Best practice: Closely monitor your first few shipments and bills to confirm that Quote IDs are being passed correctly and guaranteed charges are appearing as expected.
